Frans Michiels Belgium N.V. (F.M.B.) is a family business that was founded in the early twenties and is active as independent exporter/importer and trader of fresh fruits and vegetables. At present supermarkets and wholesale dealers all over Europe are among our customers. Clients from Eastern Europe almost exclusively buy ‘F.O.T.’ and have their goods loaded in Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Our western European clients are served by the company’s own trucks. F.M.B. logistics has its own fleet of vehicles and a close cooperation with several transport companies. In more recent years Frans Michiels Belgium has specialized in label products. Among them the already widely renowned tomatoes on the vine 'ELITE', the queen among round tomatoes 'PRINCE' and the beeftomato 'BARON' and has its own brand 'FRAMIBEL' for tomatoes on the vine, chicory and lamb's lettuce. Every day the products we purchase across Flanders are gathered in Sint-Katelijne-Waver and dispatched to our customers all over Europe. By having good contacts, low costs and direct connections to the most important production areas in Belgium, we have the possibility to react fast to the daily fluctuations in our branch of trade.
